## Usage

```text
ath export ./athlete-backup
```

## What it does

Reads one stable database revision and writes current records, retained revisions, deletions, erasure markers, dense samples, provider import keys and permitted attachments. The manifest is written last.

SQLite remains the live record. The exported JSON package is a portable snapshot and does not stay synchronized. Use export instead of copying an open database in write-ahead-log mode.

## Repeatable snapshots

Export time is absent by default, so the same database revision and options produce byte-identical output. Supply a fixed --exported-at value only when the manifest needs one.

## Options

| Argument or option | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--exported-at <timestamp>` | include this exact UTC export time in the manifest |
| `--file <path>` | export another database |
| `--json` | structured command result |
