ath delete

Hide a current record while retaining its history.

Usage

$ath delete <record-id> --revision 2 --json

What it does

Writes a normal deletion record after preview and confirmation. The record disappears from current views, but its complete revisions remain available.

Not privacy erasure

Use ath erase when values and dependent records must be removed. Deletion deliberately keeps history.

Options

--revision <number>
current record revision
--file <path>
change another database
-y, --yes
write after review
--dry-run
preview without writing
--json
structured preview; never confirms the write
